Affordable Spay/Neuter Options

You can prevent unwanted litters of puppies and kittens by getting your female pet spayed and your male pet neutered. These are three low cost spay/neuter programs in Gaston County:

Animal Control's Spay/Neuter Program
Only Gaston County residents receiving certain types of public assistance (examples: Food Stamps, Medicaid, WIC) are eligible. The spay/neuter surgery is free. You are responsible for any additional veterinary services including vaccinations.

Spay Neuter Carolina/Humane Alliance Monthly Transport
Everyone is eligible. Female Dog Spay $55, Male Dog Neuter $55, Female Cat Spay $55, Male Cat Neuter $35. There are no extra fees for pregnant pets or large dogs. All vaccines are $7.

Gaston Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic
Everyone is eligible.  Same-day surgery at Gastonia Clinic with local vets.  Most dogs $65, Female Cats $65, Male Cats $40.  All vaccines $8.  Other services available with spay/neuter surgeries.  Registration 11AM-2PM daily (except Sunday)
