Beginning January 2, 2010, restaurants and bars in North Carolina became smoke-free by state law.
The Gaston County Health Department, American Cancer Society, Cancer Services of Gaston County and other agencies will mark the occasion with informal celebrations throughout the month of January.
Tasty Tuesdays
Every Tuesday in January, Gaston County residents are encouraged to have a meal in a restaurant to show support for restaurateurs and the smoke-free law. Show your support next Tuesday by having a meal that's smoke-free!
