Yard Waste
Residential yard waste is accepted at all Gaston County Recycling Centers. The charge for yard waste disposal is $4 for a small pick-up truckload and $8 for a large truck. A Garbcard is required for disposal of yard waste.
Yard waste is also accepted at the Gaston County Yard Waste Facility at 3150 Philadelphia Church Rd. in Dallas, NC.
Commercial loads of yard waste must be brought to the Gaston County Landfill. The charge for commercial yard waste disposal is $20.00 per ton.

Periodically yard waste is ground into mulch and sold to Gaston County Residents for $1/scoop. Sale days are Wednesdays and Saturdays. For more information about mulch availability contact the Gaston County Landfill at 704-922-0267.
