Including Belmont, Cherryville, Cramerton, Dallas, Gaston County Police, Gaston County Sheriff Department, Gastonia City Police, Kings Mountain, Lowell, McAdenville, Mount Holly, North Carolina Highway Patrol, Ranlo and Stanley.
To promote and enhance the effectiveness of exchanging confidential information forthe arrest and conviction of those who challenge the safety and security of Gaston County residents and businesses.
- Crime Stoppers has continually proven itself to be successful. In one year 13 crimes were solved. Crimes solved through CrimeStoppers tips include murder, hit & run, bank robberies, larcenies and drug cases.
- The Crime Stoppers Program of Gaston County is composed of all volunteers.
- The annual budget forthe CrimeStoppers Program of Gaston County varies based on the number of tips received and the amount of in-kind services donated.
- Operational expenses include reward payouts, telephone, promotional materials, auditing and regional Crime Stoppers conference costs.
- Crime Stoppers Program of Gaston County is a nonprofit corporation, supported by financial contributions from businesses, civic groups and citizens like you. Financial contributions are tax deductible.
